This flexible PVC track is sold by the metre at €12, for ceiling-mounted installations with suitable runners, brackets and fixings. The sections below explain the layout and installation choices to check before buying.\n\nWhy choose ceiling mounting?\n\nCeiling mounting can keep the wall above a window clear and provide a continuous path for the curtain. The benefit comes from matching the run to the room, rather than assuming one arrangement suits every installation.\n\nMake space above the window\n\nDecide where the curtain should start, finish and stack when open. Allow clearance from window handles, nearby furniture and doors.\n\nFollow the room layout\n\nMeasure along the intended curtain route, including each bend. A bay or curved run usually needs more track than the straight distance between its ends.\n\nChoose the curtain arrangement\n\nChoose the curtain fabric, heading and drop alongside the track. The attachment between the curtain and runners matters as much as the shape of the run.\n\nOrder the length you need\n\nTrack is ordered in metres. Contact us to confirm continuous lengths and any requested cutting schedule before ordering several room runs together.\n\nPlan the installation\n\nPlan safe access and identify sound fixing points before starting. Use brackets and anchors suitable for the ceiling structure and total curtain load.\n\nFit and check the run\n\nMark the run and bracket positions, prepare fixing holes with the appropriate drill, then fit the track according to its instructions. Test that the runners move freely before hanging the curtains.\n\nUnderstand the system options\n\nGeneral curtain-track guides discuss single, double, curved and motorised systems. This store lists manual flexible PVC track; those other categories are not additional products included in this offer.\n\nFlexible track\n\nFlexible PVC track can follow a bay or curve. Plan gradual bends; a verified minimum bend radius is not supplied, so ask us about tight corners.\n\nDIY layouts and curves\n\nBend the track by hand into the shape of the run before you mark the bracket positions. Hold it in place along the ceiling line first, so you can see where each curve starts and ends.\n\nPre-formed track compared\n\nPre-formed track is made to a specified shape. The product here is flexible PVC, not a separately verified pre-formed system; confirm your measurements and bending needs before ordering.\n\nCheck a standard bay\n\nCheck the depth of the bay and the space for curtains when open. Measure the route at the intended track position, not only along the window frame.\n\nMotorised systems compared\n\nAutomated curtains require a compatible track, drive and control arrangement. Motor compatibility is not specified for this manual track.\n\nPlanning automated operation\n\nIf automation is a priority, identify a complete compatible system before buying components. Ask about availability rather than assuming a motor can be added later.\n\nChoose for the complete installation\n\nBefore choosing a track, put the measurements, curtain heading, curtain weight and ceiling material together. These details let you assess the complete installation.\n\nAssess how the room is used\n\nNote whether the curtain is for a window, room divider or another interior arrangement. Frequent use, unusual access or specialist settings may need a different system.\n\nConfirm curtain and ceiling compatibility\n\nSend us your measurements and a description of the mounting surface if you are uncertain. Confirm suitability before ordering; no tested maximum load is specified.\n\nMaterial and finish\n\nThe listed track is flexible PVC. Metal systems and other finishes have different properties; do not assume those options are supplied with this listing.\n\nMatch the room\n\nUse the product photographs to assess the pictured finish. Ask us before painting or using a coating, and keep the runner channel clear.\n\nCheck the installation requirements\n\nCheck access equipment, tools and suitable fixings before installation. Do not assume a fixing supplied with a product is appropriate for every ceiling.\n\nFinish with a movement check\n\nGet qualified help for an uncertain ceiling, concealed services or a complex run. Once installed, check the bracket security and curtain travel, and keep the channel clean.\n\nBefore you order\n\nMeasure the run, check the curtain and fixing requirements, then order the length you need.
